About the class:
Following on from her first two online Pilates for Fencers classes, Victoria’s next lesson will focus on the spine and shoulder girdle. Building on her experience as a BackCare professional helping clients with functional and chronic back pain, Victoria will teach exercises aimed at mobilising and strengthening the spine and shoulders so as to enable free, flowing movement when fencing and going about your daily life!

About Victoria:
Victoria is a Body Control Pilates teacher with over 9 years’ experience of teaching movement. She took up fencing as a hobby over a year ago and quickly became interested in applying her knowledge of movement to the requirements of the sport so as to help her fellow fencers with injury prevention and rehabilitation. As part of her Level 4 qualification she used fencing as her case study.
Her focus is on increasing fencers’ performance by reinforcing good movement habits and improving their technical and physical fitness in a way that is most effective and efficient. Her classes will help you increase the range of movement of your hips, shoulders and spine and increase the stability of your ankles and knees. This in turn will feed into your general agility, balance and endurance!
Victoria is also keen to help setting off the muscular imbalances caused by the asymmetrical nature of the sport so as to make sure you are able to go about your daily life and enjoy your other hobbies injury and pain free.
